This is how I survive…superficially. I’m not big on beauty products, but when I find some that really work (I mean REALLY WORK) for me, I blab about them to all my friends. I approach makeup & skin care with mega caution.

Here is a head-to-toe look at what I am currently using, to keep my skin fresh (pimple free for 3 weeks and counting), and minimal (makeup that gives me that #nomakeup look).

1. ORIBE BLONDE SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER

The only way to properly maintain your ombré is to nurture it with Oribe bright blonde shampoo & conditioner. I kid you not, after one wash that awful “bronze” tone  is removed and I have a more ashy blonde look.

2. R+CO HAIR PRODUCTS

I feel like I love this hair care product because it smells good… but it also works! Everyone needs these three things: something clean & fluff your hair, followed by something to make it  look like you have the perfect “beachy” texture, followed by something to slick down your loose frizz.

Meet the R+Co Dry Shampoo, Rockaway Salt Spray, Mannequin Styling Paste!

3. MYCHELLE SUGAR CLEANSER

Organic skin care products are my new obsession, as they should be for everyone. This sugar cleaners is the perfect natural exfoliant, no weird little plastic balls, and it smells absolutely delicious. It leaves my skin extremely soft, and I feel good after washing my face without chemicals

4. DERMALOGICA

Although I’ve been pretty dedicated to organic skin care, I have found that Dermalogica is a great product for when your skin needs a bit more of a powerful cleansing and rejuvenation. This stuff has helped keep my skin clear for 3 weeks now, and has helped even my skin tone. I only use it a couple of times a week to limit the intensity on my skin. I think balancing it with organic and natural products (even using honey masks) helps keep my skin from drying out, and makes me regret-free.

5. FIG+YARROW COMPLEXION WATER

Stay hydrated in the heat by spritzing yourself with this magic, the Fig & Yarrow Complexion Water. It helps make your pretty self feel refreshed.

6. TreStique Makeup

Less is SO MUCH MORE. TréStique has changed my life. With dual sided action makeup that disguises itself as these adorable colored pencils, my #nomakeup look has gotten an enhancement with this amazing brand. It makes carrying makeup around in your bag a whole lot easier too…

7. SMITH & CULT BASE & TOP COAT

Chipped nail polish gives me anxiety. I would not tell a lie (in writing), but Smith & Cult‘s “Basis of Everything” base coat and “Above it All” top coat, I kid you not, has made my at home manicure last an entire week…that never happens. You’re welcome.
